Crispy Baked Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup dry potato flakes
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 (3 pound) chicken, skin removed, cut into pieces
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease or line with foil a baking sheet or a 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine potato flakes, Parmesan cheese, and garlic salt. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Dip chicken pieces into melted butter or margarine, and roll in potato flake mixture to coat. Place in prepared pan.
  4. Bake for 45 to 60 minutes, or until chicken is tender and golden brown.

CHICKEN SPAGHETTI


CHICKEN SPAGHETTI
4 boneless chicken breast
 8oz Velveeta
 1 can Rotel
 1 can Cream of Mushroom
 1 package spaghetti
 milk
 salt
 pepper
 garlic

Boil chicken (Cooks Note: for more tender chicken, don't
boil; simmer slowly over low heat instead). 

Boil spaghetti according to package directions.

Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces.

Combine: chicken, spaghetti, Cream of Mushroom, Rotel (not
the whole can), salt, pepper, garlic.

Melt Velveeta in microwave. Stir in milk, just enough to
make it as creamy as desired.

Combine Velveeta with remaining ingredients, season to taste
and serve.

The apple pie was very good.  Fun to make also... a big hit..

Dutch Apple Pie


DUTCH APPLE PIE
1 (9 inch) deep dish unbaked pie shell
5 to 7 tart apples, peeled & sliced
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. cornstarch
TOPPING:
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. butter
Mix apples with sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch and pour into pie shell. Top with crumb topping and bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.DIRECTIONS FOR CRUMB TOPPING: Combine all dry ingredients and cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
* I cheated and used store bought crust to make the stars and strips look.   I have made it according to the recipe with the topping and it is good as well.
